India as one of the fastest growing economies in the world attracts plenty of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and Private Equity capital. A startup is a company or organization in its early stages, typically characterized by high uncertainty and risk. Such companies come into formation when the founders find some negatives in the existing system they have been working in and intend to solve the issues by creating a new company of their own. Startups can apply for government tenders. They are exempted from the “prior experience/turnover” criteria applicable for normal companies answering to government tenders.
